Weiman Stainless Steel Polisher Cleans Up The Barbeque
This product worked well enough for me to write a post about it. Our barbeque sits outdoors all year and although we use it throughout the winter, by the time spring comes around, it’s usually looking a little rough. Being the detail fanatic that I am, if there’s something I can clean up and make it look better with a little effort and not much time, then I will.
Our Weber is no exception. I love this barbeque and so keeping it looking good is important to me. It literally took me 5 minutes and I used two of the pre-moistened wipes for the front of the barbeque. It’s literally a wipe-on product. No wipe off is necessary. Go with the grain of the steel.
The results were immediate and there was no streaking. I think we picked this product up at London Drugs here in western Canada for about six dollars.
It’s called Weiman Stainless Steel Wipes.
You could use it on any brushed metal product. The results are good enough that you’ll be looking to clean up anything with a brushed metal finish. Here’s a shot of the barbeque doors about 75% done. Notice the bottom of the left door is not yet treated.
Here’s an “after” shot of the doors, with a richer, deeper lustre. Looks like new again. Now I just need to put some Armor All on the wheels……
