Poppy, by Noma Bliss

Maria “NOMA” Bliss is one of my favorite artists. Her work is intense, real and evokes emotion - all the stuff that good art should be about.  Noma is a friend of mine who lives in New York and does commissioned work and illustrations. Noma just sent me a picture of this piece called “Poppy”.

I’m not sure what the story is behind it (everything she does has a story), but if you like it, you can reach Noma here to find out more.

“The warmth inspired me to paint this because it was sooooo cold in the winter. Summer makes me feel happy. This is a happy painting.”
